The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering covers circuits, electronics, signals, and digital systems to prepare students for engineering practice and technology careers.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:

  1. Design, analyze, and test analog and digital electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, and integrated systems.
  2. Apply signal processing, control theory, and electromagnetic wave fundamentals to communication and power systems.
  3. Architect and program embedded microprocessor systems interfacing hardware sensors, actuators, and communication protocols.
  4. Execute complex electrical engineering design projects incorporating public safety, regulatory compliance, and professional ethics.

Prerequisite Progression Chain

Circuits & Electronics Track: PHYS 122 → EE 201 → EE 202 → EE 350; EE 201 → EE 310 → EE 490 → EE 491.
Signals & Systems Track: EE 201 + MATH 340 → EE 301 → EE 340.
Digital Systems Track: CS 150 → EE 210 → EE 330.
Electromagnetics Track: PHYS 122 + MATH 240 → EE 320.
Mathematics Core: MATH 140 → MATH 141 → MATH 240, MATH 250 → MATH 340.
