Primary Care
Accredited outpatient healthcare for all matriculated students. Most routine clinical consultations are covered at no out-of-pocket cost.
The Hollis Center provides clinical evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for acute illnesses, physical injuries, sexual health consultations, gynecological exams, routine physicals, and chronic condition management.
Fees & Co-Pays:
Consultations and examinations with our staff physicians and nurse practitioners are free of charge (funded by the mandatory $350 annual Health Services Fee). Point-of-care rapid diagnostics, immunizations, and prescription medications are billed at cost.

Appointments can be scheduled online via the AlkimiHub Student Health Portal or by phone. Same-day urgent visits are reserved each weekday morning for acute injuries and illness.

Mental Health
Confidential, short-term individual psychotherapy, group support, stress management, and 24/7 crisis intervention.
Licensed psychologists and mental health counselors offer short-term individual therapy, support groups for adjustment and anxiety, and psychiatric medication management. Services are completely confidential and tailored to collegiate developmental challenges.

Counseling records are legally protected under state and federal medical privacy statutes. Mental health records are never disclosed to parents, academic departments, or future employers without your explicit written authorization, nor do they appear on academic transcripts.

Student Safety First
Alkimi University prioritizes human safety over disciplinary sanctions when an alcohol or drug overdose occurs.
Under the university's Medical Amnesty Policy (Student Handbook §11.4), any student who summons emergency medical assistance (by calling 911 or Campus Safety at 555-0111) for themselves or on behalf of another individual in an alcohol or drug-related medical crisis will not be subject to formal disciplinary action or conduct probation under the Student Code of Conduct for personal possession or consumption.
The student calling for help and the individual receiving care participate in an educational wellness consultation with a health educator at the Hollis Center. The intervention is handled strictly as an educational healthcare measure and does not appear on disciplinary conduct records.
Requirements & Compliance
University mandates protect the broader public health of our residential academic community.
All matriculated students must provide documented proof of required vaccinations prior to arrival on campus. Official records must be uploaded to the AlkimiHub Student Health Portal.
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Two documented doses of live MMR vaccine administered on or after the first birthday, or laboratory serologic proof of positive immunity.
Meningococcal ACWY (MenACWY)
One dose administered on or after the 16th birthday. Required for all residential students age 21 and younger.
Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap)
One booster dose administered within the past 10 years.
Tuberculosis Screening
Mandatory completion of the online TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire in the AlkimiHub health portal; clinical testing required if indicated.
Submission Deadlines:
Fall 2026 entry: August 1, 2026 · Spring 2027 entry: January 4, 2027

All full-time undergraduate students are required to maintain comprehensive health insurance coverage. Students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the Alkimi Student Health Insurance Plan ($2,950 annually).
If you are covered by an existing comparable family or employer health plan that meets university minimum standards, you may waive the university insurance plan online via AlkimiHub.
Once verified, the $2,950 charge is credited back to your student account statement. Details: Student Handbook §8.6.
