English Proficiency Waiver Policy

TOEFL iBT 90, IELTS Academic 7.0, Duolingo English Test 120, or PTE Academic 61. Waived for students who have studied for at least three years in a school where English is the language of instruction.

If you qualify for a waiver based on three or more years of secondary schooling in an English-medium curriculum, your high school transcript will serve as verification during our holistic review.

Immigration & Visa

Financial documentation & I-20 issuance

To study at Alkimi University on an F-1 student visa, international applicants must obtain a Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility).

Certification of Finances

Certification of Finances showing funding for the first year of attendance is required before an I-20 is issued.

Required Verification Materials:

  • Official Alkimi International Student Certification of Finances Form
  • Official bank statement or bank letter (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Copy of valid passport biographical identification page
  • Sponsor affidavit of financial support (if applicable)

F-1 Student Visa Timeline

    Receive Offer of Admission: Pay your $400 enrollment deposit to secure your place in the class.

  2. 2

    Upload Financial Documents: Submit proof of first-year funding through the Applicant Portal.

  3. 3

    Form I-20 Issuance: Our designated school official (DSO) issues your electronic Form I-20 with SEVIS ID.

  4. 4

    Pay SEVIS I-901 Fee & Visa Interview: Schedule your F-1 visa appointment at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

Academic Records

Credential evaluation standards

Secondary and post-secondary academic records must be certified and evaluated for U.S. degree equivalency.

Foreign Credential Evaluation

Course-by-course evaluation from a NACES member is required for transfer credit from institutions outside the United States.

First-Year Applicants

Official transcripts from non-U.S. secondary schools must be submitted in the original language accompanied by a certified literal English translation. National exam results (e.g. IB, GCSE, CBSE) should be provided directly by the examining board.

International Transfer Students

To receive transfer credit toward an Alkimi degree, an official course-by-course evaluation completed by a recognized NACES member agency is required upon submission of transcripts.

Welcome to Merrow Falls

Prior to general undergraduate move-in, all incoming international students take part in a comprehensive multi-day International Student Orientation.

Our team assists with airport transportation from regional terminals, campus move-in, U.S. cellular and banking setup, Social Security number applications for campus employment, and maintaining F-1 non-immigrant status.

Tuition, Housing & Scholarship Information

International students are automatically considered for Alkimi merit scholarships up to full tuition, evaluated based on academic achievement.
