Billing Statements and Due Dates
Electronic billing statements (e-Bills) are published through AlkimiHub approximately four weeks prior to each semester. Paper invoices are not mailed.

Major credit cards are accepted online through the secure payment gateway in AlkimiHub.
A standard 2.85% merchant convenience surcharge is assessed by the payment processor.
Check or Wire Transfer
Personal or cashier's checks payable to Alkimi University can be delivered in person to Harlan Hall 120 or mailed to the Bursar's Office.
Include the student's full legal name and AlkimiID on the memo line.

Budgeting Options
Alkimi Monthly Payment Plan and Late Policies
Spread your education costs across five equal monthly installments per semester with zero interest charges.
Alkimi Monthly Payment Plan
$50 Enrollment FeeFive interest-free monthly installments per semester (fall: July–November; spring: December–April). Enrolled families divide net semester charges (tuition, fees, room, and board minus disbursed financial aid) into manageable monthly deductions.
Fall 2026 Schedule
Installments due on the 15th of July, August, September, October, and November.

Institutional Penalties
Late Fees & Financial Holds
- Late Payment Fee: $150
- Late Registration Fee: $100
- Returned Payment Fee (NSF): $35
Financial Hold Policy (§8.4): A balance above $500 after the due date places a financial hold that blocks registration and official transcripts. An active hold also restricts registration changes, diploma delivery, and future enrollment.
Adjustments & Waivers
Tuition Refund Schedule and Health Insurance
Students who drop credits below full-time or withdraw completely receive tuition adjustments according to the official institutional calendar.

Institutional Refund Notes
Refunds apply to tuition only. Fees are non-refundable after the first day of classes. Housing refunds follow the housing contract. Federal aid recipients who withdraw completely are subject to the federal Return of Title IV Funds calculation.
Mandatory fees (Student Activity, Technology, Health Services, and Orientation) are strictly non-refundable once classes have commenced. Room and board refunds follow the residential contract terms.

Worked Refund Example
Suppose a full-time student ($24,300 gross semester tuition) withdraws from Alkimi on September 15, 2026 (during the third week of classes). Under the official schedule:
- • Tuition Credit (50%): $12,150
- • Adjusted Tuition Owed: $12,150
- • Mandatory Fees: Fully owed ($575)
If the student receives federal Title IV aid, financial aid eligibility is recalculated based on the percentage of the term completed.
Mandatory Health Insurance & Waiver
Alkimi University requires all full-time undergraduate and graduate students to maintain comprehensive health insurance coverage. Students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the university Student Health Insurance Plan ($2950 annually / $1475 per semester).
Automatically billed unless waived with proof of comparable coverage by September 15 (fall) or February 1 (spring).

1098-T Tuition Tax Statement
IRS Form 1098-T tuition tax statements are published electronically in AlkimiHub for eligible educational expenses paid during the tax year.
Under Student Handbook §7.5, tax documents (1098-T), billing statements, transcripts, and diplomas must reflect the student's full legal name. To modify a legal name, submit the Legal Name Change Form with supporting legal documentation to the Registrar's Office.
