About Dr. Richard McLaughlin
Richard McLaughlin teaches Autonomous Robotics & Sensor Fusion and Feedback Control Systems. His research develops extended Kalman filter algorithms, multi-sensor odometry fusion, and perception safety monitors for autonomous mobile robots operating in GPS-denied environments. He earned his doctorate from Corwin University and directs mobile robotics testing on campus.
Dr. Richard McLaughlin is a member of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering & Computing.
