Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Apply federal taxation regulations and managerial cost accounting systems to support strategic organizational decision-making.
Conduct internal and external audit procedures employing professional skepticism, risk assessment methodologies, and ethical standards.
Evaluate accounting information systems and data analytics to optimize internal controls and financial reporting integrity.

Prerequisite Progression Chain

Accounting Core: ACCT 201 → ACCT 202 → ACCT 310 → ACCT 311 → ACCT 410 → ACCT 490.

Economics Sequence: ECON 201 → ECON 202.

Business Core to Capstone: FIN 301, MGT 301, MKT 301 → BUS 490.
