Emeka Obi

Emeka Obi is the hall director of Birch Hall, Alkimi's oldest residence hall and home to its five living-learning communities: STEM Scholars, Creative Arts, Global Village, Wellness, and First-Generation Scholars. He supervises Birch's Resident Assistants and works with the hall's faculty-in-residence and community advisors to schedule the LLC seminar rooms.

Obi joined Residence Life and Housing in 2019 and helped launch the First-Generation Scholars community with director Jordan Ellis. He holds a master's degree in higher education from Wendover University and was the first in his family to go to college.
