Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:
- Perform nuanced textual analyses of literature across diverse historical epochs, genres, and geographic traditions.
- Apply major literary theories (psychoanalytic, postcolonial, feminist, ecocritical) to interpret cultural narratives.
- Produce persuasive, sophisticated critical essays adhering to scholarly academic conventions.
- Contextualize the reciprocal relationship between literary production and socioeconomic, racial, and gendered realities.
