The Bachelor of Arts in Economics equips students with empirical modeling, microeconomic price theory, macroeconomic forecasting, and econometrics to analyze global market structures and public policies.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:
- Analyze market efficiency, consumer optimization, firm pricing strategies, and market failures using microeconomic theory.
- Evaluate macroeconomic monetary and fiscal policy responses to inflation, unemployment, and business cycles.
- Construct regression models to test economic hypotheses and assess causal relationships using empirical econometric tools.
- Synthesize economic data to draft professional policy briefs and market analyses.

ECON 201 + MATH 140 → ECON 301; ECON 202 + MATH 140 → ECON 302; STAT 205 → ECON 310 → ECON 490.
