Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:
- Analyze primary and secondary historical evidence critically, evaluating authorial context, bias, and audience.
- Formulate sophisticated, evidence-based historical arguments in written and oral modalities.
- Trace the evolution of American, European, and transnational institutions, labor systems, and cultural ideologies over time.
- Execute an original archival capstone project conforming to professional historical research methodologies.
Prerequisite Progression Chain
HIST 101/102 → HIST 201 → 300-level historical topical seminars → HIST 490 Senior Capstone.
