Curriculum Structure

Program Overview & Learning Outcomes

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science prepares software engineers, systems architects, and computing researchers through a rigorous curriculum in algorithms, data structures, computer systems, software design, and artificial intelligence.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the baccalaureate curriculum, graduates will:

  1. Design, implement, and analyze efficient algorithms and scalable software systems using modern paradigms (object-oriented, functional, concurrent).
  2. Demonstrate deep understanding of computer systems architecture, operating systems kernel primitives, memory management, and network protocols.
  3. Apply formal mathematical foundations—including discrete mathematics, automata theory, and complexity analysis—to computational problem solving.
  4. Collaborate in multi-developer engineering teams utilizing Git version control, continuous integration, automated testing, and agile methodologies to construct a complex full-stack software capstone.

Prerequisite Progression Chain
