About Dr. Zhen Du
Zhen Du teaches Dynamics of Mechanical Systems and Mechanics of Materials. His research develops sub-wavelength acoustic metamaterials, elastic wave attenuation in phononic crystals, and structural noise cancellation barriers for industrial machinery. He completed his doctoral training at Wendover University and directs experiments in the department's anechoic testing chamber.
