About Dr. Yuna Shin
Yuna Shin directs the Alkimi Concert Choir and teaches Music Appreciation and Aural Culture alongside sections of First-Year Seminar. Her scholarly work focuses on sixteenth-century sacred choral polyphony, vocal blend acoustics, and historical performance practices. Under her direction, university choirs have toured internationally and collaborated with regional symphony orchestras throughout the Northeast.
Dr. Yuna Shin is a member of the Department of Visual & Performing Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.
