About Dr. Yolanda Jefferson
Yolanda Jefferson instructs courses in Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness and Introduction to Public Health. Her research examines municipal emergency evacuation planning, flood crisis communications, and community resilience following severe climate events. She frequently consults with emergency management directors across the region to design disaster response exercises.
Dr. Yolanda Jefferson is a member of the Department of Public Health in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
