About Dr. Ying Zheng
Ying Zheng chairs the Department of Educational Leadership and directs doctoral seminars in educational policy and governance. Her research examines superintendent tenure, school board decision-making dynamics, and systemic district reform across urban and suburban school systems. She has guided dozens of EdD candidates through doctoral dissertation advising and executive leadership preparation.
Dr. Ying Zheng is a member of the Department of Educational Leadership in the School of Education.
