About Dr. Ximena Orozco
Ximena Orozco teaches Organic Chemistry II and Directed Research in Chemistry. Her polymer chemistry research investigates controlled radical polymerization techniques to synthesize renewably sourced, chemically recyclable polymeric materials. Her laboratory partners with regional sustainability consortia across the Merrow Valley to test biodegradable polymer formulations in consumer packaging.
Dr. Ximena Orozco is a member of the Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences.
