About Dr. Winston Beckford
Winston Beckford teaches Mechanics of Materials and Advanced Finite Element Analysis. His research examines dynamic fracture mechanics, delamination propagation in carbon-fiber polymer composites, and crashworthiness modeling for transportation structures. He completed his doctorate at Stonecroft College and regularly advises student design teams in collegiate vehicle challenges.
Dr. Winston Beckford is a member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering & Computing.
