About Dr. Veronica Quintero
Veronica Quintero teaches Colonial and Revolutionary America and United States History to 1877. Her research investigates comparative plantation slavery, enslaved women's legal petitions, and family networks across the British and Spanish Caribbean. Her first book analyzed baptismal and court records to trace freedom suits in eighteenth-century island colonies.
Dr. Veronica Quintero is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
