About Dr. Thao Ly
Thao Ly teaches Computing and Society along with Capstone Seminar in AI & Society. Her research focuses on post-hoc model explanations, audit algorithms for bias detection in automated decision systems, and counterfactual fairness in high-stakes public sector applications. She completed her doctorate at Wendover University and directs student research on responsible artificial intelligence.
Dr. Thao Ly is a member of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Engineering & Computing.
