About Dr. Tariq Shammas
Tariq Shammas teaches Environmental Remediation Systems and Environmental Engineering & Water Quality. His research explores PFAS surfactant transport mechanisms in fractured bedrock aquifers, colloidal mobilization, and pilot-scale in-situ chemical oxidation for legacy industrial solvent plumes. He completed his doctoral studies at Castellan College and directs contaminant transport simulations in his laboratory.
