About Dr. Tanya McNeil
Tanya McNeil teaches Modern European Imperialism & Decolonization and Historical Methods and Historiography. Her scholarship analyzes imperial governance, colonial medical surveillance, and legal jurisdiction across British India during the late nineteenth century. She was awarded an NEH research grant to investigate epidemic control measures and municipal sanitation acts in Victorian Bombay.
Dr. Tanya McNeil is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
