About Dr. Sylvia Tucker
Sylvia Tucker teaches Mental and Behavioral Health Nursing and Foundations of Professional Nursing Practice. With eight years of acute inpatient psychiatric nursing experience, she focuses on therapeutic communication, crisis de-escalation, and trauma-informed milieu management. She guides students through clinical placements at community behavioral health facilities.
