About Dr. Stuart Stavrou
Stuart Stavrou teaches Cell and Molecular Biology and directs undergraduate projects in Undergraduate Research in Biology. His laboratory applies synthetic biology tools and metabolic engineering approaches to microalgae, optimizing lipid biosynthesis pathways for bioproduct manufacturing. He joined the faculty after completing research fellowships at Castellan College.
