About Dr. Sachiko Matsumoto
Sachiko Matsumoto teaches Pathophysiology and Health Assessment & Clinical Physical Examination in both classroom and laboratory settings. Her research investigates intestinal mucosal barrier dysfunction, systemic inflammatory biomarkers, and gut microbiome alterations in inflammatory bowel disease. She guides undergraduate nursing honors students in laboratory assays and clinical symptom tracking methods.
Dr. Sachiko Matsumoto is a member of the Department of Nursing in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
