About Dr. Roland Dempsey
Roland Dempsey teaches Neuropharmacology and Synaptic Transmission and Plasticity. His research examines monoaminergic neurotransmitter transport mechanisms, allosteric modulator binding sites on dopamine receptors, and synaptic signaling adaptations underlying substance use disorders. His investigations are funded by a grant through the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
Dr. Roland Dempsey is a member of the Department of Neuroscience in the College of Arts & Sciences.
