About Dr. Rocío Montes
Rocío Montes teaches Advanced Creative Writing Seminar in addition to sections of Academic Writing and Writing, Research, and Technology. A published essayist and memoirist, she examines hybrid literary forms, documentary poetics, and personal narratives of place. Her debut essay collection explored ecological change and agricultural communities across the rural northeast.
Dr. Rocío Montes is a member of the Department of English in the College of Arts & Sciences.
