About Dr. Reza Tehrani
Reza Tehrani teaches Western and World Civilizations II and offers specialized seminars on the social history of the Middle East. His scholarship centers on Safavid administrative structures, Persian Gulf maritime commerce, and silk trading caravans between Isfahan and Istanbul. He has received research grants to catalog Persian and Arabic commercial manuscripts in regional archives.
Dr. Reza Tehrani is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
