About Dr. Rachel Nolan
Rachel Nolan teaches Introduction to Sociology, drawing upon four decades of research in social gerontology. Her scholarship explores family caregiving dynamics, informal support networks, and state policy for assisted-living facilities. She has received honors from national sociological associations for her foundational contributions to life course sociology and long-term care policy.
Dr. Rachel Nolan is a member of the Department of Sociology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
