About Dr. Qian Yao
Qian Yao teaches The Modern Novel alongside sections of Academic Writing and Writing, Research, and Technology. Her research investigates Asian American literature, global migration narratives, and contemporary speculative fiction by women writers. Her current project analyzes how contemporary novelists use alternate histories to explore transnational labor and family memory.
Dr. Qian Yao is a member of the Department of English in the College of Arts & Sciences.
