About Dr. Nora Ferrara
Nora Ferrara teaches Principles of Epidemiology and Chronic Disease Prevention in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease incidence trends, social determinants of cardiometabolic health, and neighborhood food environment interventions in northern industrial cities. She spent fifteen years leading longitudinal cohort studies at Wendover University before joining the Alkimi faculty.
Dr. Nora Ferrara is a member of the Department of Public Health in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
