About Dr. Natalia Benítez
Natalia Benítez teaches Physical Geology and Earth Systems and Senior Environmental Science Capstone. Her geological research examines Appalachian structural geology, brittle fault mechanics, and ductile shear zone development in crystalline bedrock. Over four decades of field mapping, she has authored numerous geological quadrangle maps in the northeastern United States.
Dr. Natalia Benítez is a member of the Department of Environmental Science in the College of Arts & Sciences.
