About Dr. Monique Jefferson
Monique Jefferson chairs the Department of Teacher Education and teaches Foundations of American Education and Classroom Management & Assessment. Her research examines teacher induction programs, urban educator retention, and democratic schooling philosophies. Over twenty-five years in teacher education, she has prepared hundreds of candidates for careers in regional public school classrooms.
