About Dr. Mateo Vargas
Mateo Vargas teaches Introduction to Data Science & Analytics and Data Mining and Predictive Modeling. Before joining Alkimi, he worked as a senior predictive modeling analyst for a regional insurance provider in New England. His courses focus on applied time series forecasting, feature engineering techniques, and deploying machine learning pipelines in production settings.
Dr. Mateo Vargas is a member of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Engineering & Computing.
