About Dr. Maricel Villanueva
Maricel Villanueva teaches Mental and Behavioral Health Nursing and Nursing Research, Inquiry, and Evidence-Based Practice. Her research evaluates perinatal depression screening tools, stigma reduction, and culturally tailored mental health interventions for postpartum women. She earned her undergraduate degree from Kellbrook College before completing her doctoral studies.
Dr. Maricel Villanueva is a member of the Department of Nursing in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
