About Dr. Manuel Ibarra
Manuel Ibarra serves as chair of the Department of History and teaches United States History to 1877 as well as Senior Seminar and Capstone in History. His research focuses on borderlands diplomacy, agrarian reform, and trade relations between the United States and northern Mexico during the nineteenth century. He has authored two acclaimed monographs on southwestern border disputes.
Dr. Manuel Ibarra is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
