About Dr. Luca McCarthy
Luca McCarthy teaches Studio Drawing and Visual Composition, coordinating the foundations studio curriculum for visual arts students. His teaching practice emphasizes observational drawing rigor, figure construction, and integrating digital drawing tablets into traditional studio workflows. Before his appointment at Alkimi, he taught foundation drawing and graphic design fundamentals at Castellan College.
Dr. Luca McCarthy is a member of the Department of Visual & Performing Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.
