About Dr. Lei Su
Lei Su teaches Senior Seminar and Capstone in History and offers Special Topics in History focused on modern East Asia. His research examines Chinese treaty ports, urban municipal politics, and technological transfer in late Qing and Republican-era Shanghai. He recently completed an archival monograph detailing how telegraph networks transformed Chinese international commerce.
Dr. Lei Su is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
