About Dr. Leah Lang
Leah Lang teaches Music Appreciation and Aural Culture and directs sections of Core Capstone examining music and social revolution. A trained lyric soprano and musicologist, her research centers on nineteenth-century German opera, vocal pedagogy, and theatrical censorship in late romantic musical culture. She performs recitals regularly and coaches student vocalists in classical repertoire.
