About Dr. Kristen Somers
Kristen Somers instructs students in Environmental Health & Sanitation and Introduction to Public Health. Her research assesses municipal drinking water safety, heavy metal exposure in industrial communities, and air quality disparities in northern river valleys. She previously served as an environmental health specialist before entering academic research.
Dr. Kristen Somers is a member of the Department of Public Health in the School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
