About Dr. Karim Bakr
Karim Bakr teaches Operating Systems and Systems Programming and Computer Architecture and Assembly Language. His research investigates coverage-guided binary fuzzing, symbolic execution engines for vulnerability discovery, and automated exploit generation defenses. He earned his doctoral degree from Wendover University and directs student teams in national collegiate cyber defense competitions.
Dr. Karim Bakr is a member of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Engineering & Computing.
