About Dr. Jasmine Freeman
Jasmine Freeman teaches Introduction to Biology and teaches sections of First-Year Seminar focused on urban ecology. Her research examines soil microbial community assembly and mycorrhizal fungi networks beneath restored temperate urban parks and municipal greenspaces. Her field research team collaborates closely with regional land trusts to evaluate soil rehabilitation.
Dr. Jasmine Freeman is a member of the Department of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
