About Dr. Jacob Brandt
Jacob Brandt teaches Introduction to Sociology, integrating labor history and field interviews into his coursework. His research investigates changing labor market structures, gig economy employment, and union organizing strategies among logistics and warehouse workers in the Northeast. He is currently writing a book on how algorithmic scheduling affects family routines among hourly wage earners.
