About Dr. Héctor Vargas
Héctor Vargas teaches Introduction to Literary Analysis & Critical Theory and American Literature. His scholarship examines Mexican American borderlands literature, print culture, and bilingual modernist magazines from the early twentieth century. He recently edited a critical anthology of regional working-class poetry recovered from southwestern labor archives.
Dr. Héctor Vargas is a member of the Department of English in the College of Arts & Sciences.
