About Dr. Hao Xiao
Hao Xiao teaches sections of Calculus I and regularly instructs Numerical Analysis. His applied research investigates convex optimization, nonsmooth analysis, and gradient-based algorithms for large-scale structured data problems. Before joining Alkimi, he conducted optimization research and numerical analysis as a faculty member at Ostrander University.
Dr. Hao Xiao is a member of the Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences.
