About Dr. Gwendolyn Staton
Gwendolyn Staton teaches Introduction to Data Science & Analytics and Senior Independent Research in Data Science. A senior statistician and computational scientist, her research focuses on Gaussian process regression, spatial point process models, and Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms for environmental mapping. She earned her doctorate from Ostrander University and has mentored dozens of doctoral candidates.
Dr. Gwendolyn Staton is a member of the Department of Computer Science in the School of Engineering & Computing.
