About Dr. Gwendolyn Freeman
Gwendolyn Freeman teaches Systems & Behavioral Neuroscience and Sensory Systems Neuroscience. Her research investigates amygdala-prefrontal circuit dynamics governing conditioned fear extinction and anxiety-like behaviors in rodent models. Her laboratory utilizes in vivo optogenetics and multichannel fiber photometry to record circuit activity in freely moving animals.
Dr. Gwendolyn Freeman is a member of the Department of Neuroscience in the College of Arts & Sciences.
