About Dr. Gustavo Rosales
Gustavo Rosales teaches Global Art History: Ancient to Modern, guiding students through the visual heritage of ancient civilizations. His scholarship examines Mesoamerican manuscript painting, Indigenous pictorial codices, and sixteenth-century architectural frescoes in central Mexico. He has received an NEH fellowship to study sixteenth-century mural conservation in the Americas.
Dr. Gustavo Rosales is a member of the Department of Visual & Performing Arts in the College of Arts & Sciences.
