About Dr. Francesca Shapiro
Francesca Shapiro teaches Politics of the Developing World and Senior Seminar Capstone in Political Science. Her research examines human rights accountability, truth commissions, and transitional justice mechanisms across the Southern Cone of Latin America. Her scholarship has been supported by grants from the Inter-American Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Francesca Shapiro is a member of the Department of Political Science in the College of Arts & Sciences.
