About Dr. Frances Burke
Frances Burke teaches Principles of Microeconomics and leads sections of First-Year Seminar examining economic inequality and healthcare access. Her research investigates hospital pricing disparities, insurance market exchanges, and the regional impacts of state Medicaid expansions. She regularly advises public health policy groups and regional health systems throughout the Merrow Valley.
Dr. Frances Burke is a member of the Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences.
