About Dr. Everton Henriques
Everton Henriques teaches Sensory Systems Neuroscience and Senior Neuroscience Capstone Research. His research examines auditory processing, cochlear hair cell mechanotransduction, and plastic reorganization within the central auditory pathways following sensorineural hearing loss. With over four decades in auditory neuroscience, he has authored numerous foundational papers on tonotopic maps.
Dr. Everton Henriques is a member of the Department of Neuroscience in the College of Arts & Sciences.
